While general information is noted below, additional details will be provided during the hired Team Member’s onboarding process.

  • 401(k) Savings Plan - For the first $390 the Team Member contributes, the Company will provide a 150% match.  After that, and continuing until 5% of annual pay is reached, the Company will match 50% of contributions up to 5% of the Team Member’s salary. Employer match is posted once per year for contributions made in the previous year.
  • Health Insurance – After sixty (60) days of employment, eligible Team Members and their dependents may receive access to a comprehensive health insurance plan that includes medical, dental, vision and pharmaceutical benefits.
  • Vacation Benefits –Team Members are awarded vacation days upon the first (1st) anniversary date of full-time employment. The number of days are determined based upon hourly or full-time status, and increase based upon years of employment with the Company.
  • Holidays – Sands Expo grants paid holiday time off to all eligible Team Members immediately upon starting employment. These holidays are typically New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. In addition, each January eligible Team Members receive two (2) floating holidays to use during the calendar year.
  • Educational Assistance – After one year of employment, eligible Team Members may apply for financial assistance for studies that are part of a degree, licensing, or certification program that is related to current job duties.
  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment - After sixty (60) days of employment, eligible Team Members become eligible for Life Insurance benefits.  Sands Expo provides a basic plan, which may be increased at the Team Member’s expense.
  • Sick Leave Benefits – After ninety (90) days of employment, Team Members may request use of paid sick leave.  This time is accrued monthly and caps at a maximum of twelve (12) days.
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability – For eligible Team Members, Sands Expo provides Short-Term Disability benefits to ensure a continuous stream of income while coping with an illness or injury that leaves them temporarily unable to work. Long-Term Disability benefits are designed to ensure a continuous stream of income if they are disabled or unable to work.
  • Bereavement Leave – Due to the death of an immediate family member, up to three (3) paid days of bereavement leave per calendar year may be taken.
  • Jury Duty Leave –Team Members of an eligible classification may request up to two (2) weeks of paid jury duty leave in any one (1) year period.
